in the middle of the green field of Thorsinton park grew a strong oak. The children who lived all around it loved to play near it, and the adults loved to sit in the shade the tree gave out. The tree witnessed many generation grow and for a long time the tree felt happy and not alone. He would listen to Little Belle while she read about princesses and dragons. He watched Michael stare at her from the distance, then he saw how his face filled with determination and the boy walked to Belle, with a green ball in his hand. He wanted her to play with him, but she wanted to read about a brave knight and a noble dragon. The oak watche as Michael suggested that they played princesses and knight, but he also watched as Belle deny, she wanted there to be a noble dragon. Then he saw the pair agree he would be the dragon.

When he saw Belles tear stained face, he stopped. His face filled with the same determination the oak had seen many years ago, then he saw the tall boy walk to a weeping Belle and ask the same thing he had asked long ago.
